Eddie Ruffin from Great American Insurance Group-Annuities will be in the Faculty Lounge on Friday, Oct. 24th during all lunch periods with information on 403(b) plans and annuities.
COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 218 COLLEGE
AND CAREER FAIR

Ms. OBrien
Community High School District 218 will be sponsoring a College and Career Fair for students and parents. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 29th from 4:00-6:30 at the District Administrative Center. There will be representatives from Colleges, Career and Technical Schools as well as Career Professionals. There will also be presentations on financial aid. If students need bus transportation to the event, please sign up in the Counseling Office by Monday, October 27th.

The following Breakfast with a Professional events provide students the opportunity to meet with various professionals in the working world and learn about their education and careers. Please see Mrs. Bennett if you are interested in attending one of these special presentations held during first or second period! Space is limited.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Coach Walker
Congratulation to the F/S and Varsity boys cross country teams on taking 2nd place at the Conference meet last Saturday. Caleb Washington was the individual conference champion. Other All Conference runners were Paul Milkus and Garrett White. Frosh-Soph Astro of the Meet went to Matt Randich while Varsity Astro of the Meet went to Kevin Courtney who took 1st place overall in the open race. Congrats and good luck at IHSA Regional meet this Saturday at Midlothian Meadows!

GIRLS SWIM TEAM

Congratulations to the Girls Swim team on their 2nd place finish in the 7 team Tinley Park Invite this past weekend. Additional notice goes to senior Mary Lippertfor her 1st place finish in the 50 free, and 2nd in the 100 free: Annie Rangel for her 1st place finish in the 500 freestyle, and Becca Gleich 2nd place in the 500 freestyle. Grace Spindler placed 3rd in the 100 butterfly as well. 2nd place relay members of the 400 free relay were, Mary Lippert, Hannah Vasil, Annie Rangel, and Becca Gleich.

Any boys interested in joining the swimming and diving team please attend the informational meeting on Wednesday, October 29th afterschool on the pool deck. If you are unable to attend, please see Coach Biedron (room 306) sometime prior to the meeting.
